2.2 update. Android Market missing

My husband has the Droid X and recently did the 2.2 FROYO update. Now he can't access the Android Market. He gets error message that app isn't installed. I've been trying to search the web for an online site to reinstall app. No luck. Any ideas?

I have the Droid X and it is flashed to Cricket. I am having the same problem and was wondering if restoring it will unflash my phone? Thanks!
