So I whent to sleep with my droid x fully chARged and when I woke up it was dead. I pluged it in and the battery life was 0%.i let it charge like 10% and turned it on and the home screen said it was at 60%? What gives?

I M all so having trouble with the advance task killer, it seams to be opening or saying that apps I never opened are open?

PS I still love my droid x

Get rid of Advance Task Killer....It most likely the cause of your problems.

yea there are some serious battery issues with some of these phones... including mine. act like it fully charges in like 45 minutes and then battery wont go lower than 70% on the status monitor.

Then if i take the battery out and put it back in, the i get the correct readout until ~ 40%... where it sticks and then the phone dies saying low battery about 15 minutes later.

I heard something about an OTA fix today? can anyone confirm that ?

yes... update coming soon for Droid X including battery status fix and more... go to www.verizonwireless.com/droidxsupport

in regards to the task killer... these batteries also almost "learn" if you will based on your use... I noticed with my droid 1 that i didn't run the task killer for the first week and my battery started last more and more every day. that was with putting it on the charger every night until it was charged and then leaving it on for an extra 15 minutes or so. After about 1-2 weeks, my battery was lasting upwards to 2 days on medium - high use. WITHOUT a task killer...
