I am about to switch to the Droid X from Storm 1. My question is with the Blackberry Storm 1 had a Blackberry Desktop Manager is there one for the Droid X? When they said that the phone is Locked does that mean that you can't put Beautiful Widgets on the Droid X?

You can put Beautiful Widgets on it, or any non-root app for that matter.

I happened to be up and reading....locked means to a specific carrier......there have been so many hacks done on the phones nowdays that locked is near a joke. Desktop software for the droid? I do not deal with blackberrys or BES servers anymore because I was liberated from my blackberry role when I handed those "as assigned by management duties" off to someone else. Goode emails and says droid can work with them....but someone else needs to input on that. My droid is personal and my industry regulates the BES heavily.
