2nd Droid Pro to software crash in 2 months

Bought a new Droid Pro in November. Less than a month later, after it ran out of battery, it wouldn't boot up after being plugged in all night. It gave me an error message and wouldn't move on (something about plugging in the USB to load). I took it to Verizon who said that it suffered a software crash, and they gave me a new one. Yesterday I shut the new one down to take the Body Glove case off and it did the same thing. I took it to Verizon who said it suffered a software crash, and they are sending me a new one tomorrow. Any thoughts? They stated that it never happens with this phone, but it happened to me twice with two different phones in less than two months. I've only used it for phone, e-mail, apps through Marketplace, and Social Networking. The only two things in common are the card and case. Like the phone but getting leery. Any opinions would be welcome.

Wow, well first off, Welcome to the forum.

I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles with your Droid. I would suggest that maybe you try a different card. The case will not be an issue but I am wondering about the card.

That would be my only suggestion.

Thanks. I will try that. Just got the 3rd one 2 hours ago and put my old card in. The new one came with a card, so I will back up all info and switch cards. Hopefully that is it. Hard to believe that I got 2 defective phones in a row. You would think the tech at Verizon would have suggested that, instead of "sorry you're SOL. The best we can do is keep sending you a new one".
