3D Barcode question (related, I promise)

Heya folks, first time poster but I've lurked for awhile. This forum is THE go-to resource for all things DROID-related.

I love how some people seem to have 3D barcodes created for URLs and such so I can just hold the DROID up to the computer screen and instantly go find the link with a barcode reader app.

Question is: What's a good 3D barcode generator program for computer that I can just plug a URL into and have a readable barcode for my DROID?

So you don't need to type the whole web addy in your droid.....say you find a cool pic for a background. Just use the barcode to get to the page asap

Can any one give a introduction of 3D barcode? I also only hear about 2D barcode.

Personally, I find no reason or logic to have a 3D barcode/QR code scanner, as all of these images are 2D.
The best one I found in Google Play is put out by ZXING, and I have this app loaded on all our phones, and it always works!

It''s a free app, and allows you to scan 1D codes, QR codes, Data Matrix, store bar codes for products, and you can also scan certain licenses with this.

I have a QR code on my business cards, so the customers can view me online and never have to pick up a phone and talk to me, they can obtain my information from the card, saving them time and effort.

My 'job' is to give my customers the best service for their money, not waste their time if what I offer, is not what they are in need of, and having a QR code to scan, gives them the freedom.

+1 for the app by ZXING. It's simply called Barcode Scanner & works on every drink cup/poster/etc I've ever tried it on.
