3G connection stops when I lock the phone

I listen the Internet radios while I do the workout. But when I lock the phone the 3G connection stops. If I am listening from my SD card no problem.

Is there any solution that to keep the 3G connection on always?

I would like to lock the phone to keep the touch screen and controls to deactivate and also for battery saving.

Are you using Juice Defender by chance?

I don't think so. I don't even know what is that. Is that something already on Droid?
