3g signal dropping randomly

This has been happening more often than I'm comfortable with. My droid 3 will randomly lose 3g and proceed to lose signal entirely for no reason whatsoever. It appears to be a software glitch. The reason I think this is because its happened at my house a few times where in the 10 years I've lived here I've never lost service here, AND we have 3 other people with verizon phones in my house. Two smartphones and one feature phone and they do not lose signal, ever. Sometimes putting my phone in airplane mode and then deactivating airplane mode fixes it. Sometimes that doesn't work and a reboot is necessary.

This is very upsetting. This happened with my droid 2 in the past. Quite often.

Pretty much the same 3g issue here. Also my extended battery would begin to die quickly all of a sudden, maybe after a day or two of use. Otherwise it lasts for over a day. I have called verizon three times so far. We tried a hard reset but it didn't help. At this point there is a replacement in the mail. Hopefully that fixes it.
