3g Wireless Hotspot App and Liberty?

Hey I'm unable to install the 3g wireless app. When I run the team black hat .zip it looks like it works but upon reboot the app is still not there. Anyone else having this problem/figure it out? Thanks

I use the one from fission rom manager works perfectly

did u install the mynet? in liberty toolbox---> app management--> ad-ons?
mynet is the original 3g mobile hotspot that came with the phone

I wondered what that was I don't install stuff if I don't know what it is
Looks like its the same
I guess you still need the patch though mine would not
Work without the patch

That's how I have mine running I just installed mynet and then put the patch on and I am a happy camper =)

What is this patch you speak of? What does it do and where do I get it depending on what it does...i am guessing it makes you not have to pay vzw more money!

haha exactly and go to the hacks section on d2 but i believe it has the link for dx cause it is on the TBH website

it's under 3g mobile hotspot hack and just go to the website and you'll find it by scrolling down on the threads

thanks guys, got it up and running but for some reason it only stays connected for about a minute. have the same issue with the wireless tether app; maybe I have a hardware issue....

I patched the 3G hotspot.. how do I know this isnt charging me?

Does it work on devices such as an ipod or zune? And if u didn't have the patch u have to pay for the plan to use it... if u patch it it works without the pay

ah thank you, and it should work; my buddy connected his blackberry to my DROID.
