I noticed in some forums that the latest Verizon update says 4.0.4 IMM76K. However after I flashed an update a couple of days ago, in my build number it shows IMM76I.. is this an issue. Should I download the other version?

You're on AOKP. That's built off the 4.0.4 source from Google. The K is Verizon specific (our updated radios was pretty much the only thing in the update) and I is GSM and Google source.

I'm assuming 4.0.4 is for rooters? I'm not rooted and I'm still on 4.0.2. I heard rumors that Verizon launched 4.0.4 already but I don't have yet....

They're doing a soak test right now, so certain people received the update already. It should go out to everyone within the next week or two.

Is there a link somewhere for 4.0.4 IMM76K? I installed the radios but would also like to be on the official Verizon version. I'm currently on "I". The reason I want to be on an official build is to see if I can download this app. For some reason, it says my GN is not compatible but it is when I flash 4.0.2. Anyone know why?

Does Samsung even have any part in the software that runs on our Nexus'?

Yes Samsung has a OS software development relationship with Google

All I have to say is I am loving the new imm76k radios. If google continues to improve this thing it will be a beast. The one kryptonite for people with this phone was radios. You improve that along with keeping it clean and fast.... this phone will easily make it for 2 years especially with oems still releasing dual core phones in the states.

I hope this to be correct, as nothing official has been announced.

What parts of the Nexus software are influenced by Samsung?

I would still like to know the answer to this if anyone has an idea. Captdroid do you have any idea? I'm just curious more than anything.

Don't know specifically but the chief android google engineer said in a blog post they have a development relationship
