If you are thinking about leaving the nexus behind like I was, this is for you. I stayed stock, and was about ready to give up. I got my update yesterday... Wow. It has given me the ability to fall in love with this phone all over again. My data is perfect. It doesn't drop constantly anymore. The smoothness of ice cream sandwich is back again. The battery doesn't drain as badly as before. Apps run more smoothly and my launcher and phone apks dont force close repetitively anymore. Things are better, and I'm glad I waited it out. I can't be happier than to say phone is on top of the market again. I'd like to see any phone's software touch this baby now.

Yep! I had no problems at all with 402 but 404 is just "better" in every way!
