4G App

So, 4G was down again yesterday. Was this the 3rd or 4th time this month?

Would be neat if there was an App that would tell me when the system is down & based on my location !

I believe 3rd time this month. As for your app idea, that would be great, but then again we do have the signal bars. Considering how often the network goes down and for the ridiculous amount of time it is, pretty say to assume it is the network. One good way to test is changing your phone to CDMA only.

We had that outage last week and I couldn't get 3g either. The one we just had I found out about online but I was in cdma mode. Weird!

Yeah how would the app work...If it constantly draws data to show that the network is working then the drain on the battery would be significant.

Yesterday some users had 3g working, for me it was on and off. 4g was off for about 12hrs for me.

Regarding orig post - Just trying to bring a little levity to the outage.

I was spotty on the 3G as well.
