4g dropping out razr maxx

Rooted razr maxx. 4g drops out constantly. Im in a well saturated area for 4g. It drops out then picks back up. Usually only lasts like 45 seconds. Is this normal for the phone? Thanks.

Mine isn't rooted and that happens constantly. I just called Verizon and they're like "well ... that's not happening" I've had to switch to just 3G. I got the Razr Maxx last week and am already having problems. My sister has the Razr and is having the exact same issues. Can't get emails etc. I switched her phone to just 3G and she got all 15 emails at once (and her phone finally sent them!). We both got our phones last week. Seriously .. help!

It's not just one area either. I've been in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Baltimore in the past week and it hasn't been working.
