4g issues again?!

Ok, so my nexus is only having issues on 4g. 4g signal is good, data takes forever to show and the signal color does not change to blue. And when it does, the connection is either so slow a data connection is not recognized or there is no data connection.
Suggestions on what I should do?

Could be having radio issues. Are you rooted and ROMd?

Oh yeah I am. Liquid 1.1. No trouble w/ 4g until the other day. Signal just about refuses to go "blue" from white. Even then, no connectivity.
Is there a reset for that short of resetting the phone? I was thinking maybe it was a local 4g issue to the network.
