4G LTE back to 3G question.

If for some reason I have to go back to a 3G device from 4G on one of my lines, is that possible without changing the plan or contract?

Can I switch between 3g and 4g devices with ESN swaps online?

If your switching between two devices you currently own, Absolutely! It would be no different than switching from one smartphone to another, just don't switch to a non smartphone, you will lose your current data plan.

Unless you upgraded to a 4g LTE device during the Double Your Data plan. My understanding is that if you drop to a 3g device, you will drop back down to 2gigs.

It would probably be best to contact customer service, or visit a store.

I have been on unlimited data for a while and have switched between 3g devices only without problems.
