4g screwy after root

Hey guys, long time lurker.
I finally went and rooted via the adb method. the phone rooted w/ only stock sense on it wouldn't properly "grasp" onto 4g, displaying it and then not displaying it right after, off and on like that until i switched into 3g. I installed the mr2 radio thinking it would help, and was initially using flyweight. 4g would works for a few minutes and then starts flashing in and out, just like it was doing prior. if i set it to 3g it works fine. I swapped to liquid gingersense and it's doing the same thing. When 4g does connect it's crazy slow and then starts blinking in and out again.

I've pulled the battery and sim card repeatedly and it doesn't help. any ideas? Thanks.

check to see if a different rom fixes it. try different radios too man

i had some really weird issues after trying to root.
does the root process mess with the SIM card or anything? would it be safer to remove the SIM during the rooting process?

either way, i had similar issues with my first TB (rooted and also stock) i tried everything from 3 different ROMs, different radios, sim/battery pulls, anything i could think of, and it just didn't work. finally got a new TB and all was well. now it is messed up again hopefully you get yours fixed, verizon has been great, but i am getting sick of setting up my phone time and time again and not even having a cool new ROM to play around with

please know guys that these arent common problems. its aways possible something went wrong when rooting. after all you do root at your own risk

yeah totally aware of that :icon_eek:. i tried mr2.5 and nothing, then I went back to stock and 4g is still not right. I'm hoping i can return it for a replacement. now i want to kick my own ass, heh. anyways thanks for the input guys.
