My wife got the .902 OTA this morning and her phone was stock 5.5.893. My phone is on 5.7.893 and I did not get the update. Has anyone on 5.7.893 gotten the .902 OTA update? Should I wait a little bit or am I going to have to roll back to 5.5.893?

Have you tried to pull the OTA update - homescreen, hard menu key, settings, scroll down to about phone, system updates...

When updates are pushed, there is no rhyme or reason how they roll out...

Yes, I've tried that and get the "Your device is up to date!" message. Yeah, I may get it tomorrow or next week. Wondering if someone else out there has gotten it with 5.7.893.

You will have to roll back. The update is for 5.5.893 only. There is also a version that patches 5.9.901 since it was pushed by accident, but I've not heard of anything to patch the cheesecake leaks.

EDIT: What they said ^^^^^

I had the 5.7.893 too... and, to the best of my knowledge the only way to get to .902 is to roll back to stock.... I too was on 7.893 prior to .901 and had to revert to stock. There are several easy ways to do this posted on these forums! Best of luck.

You are off the update path; you will need to revert back to 5.893 or stock 886

You are on a version that was never officially released. You are off the upgrade path. You need to do this:

Bionic Path Saver 1-Click Method - MyDroidWorld

Just stop the process at 893, don't continue on to 901.

I can't download anything from this link. The multiupload.com site has been seized by the government. The manual download page that Rootzwiki sends me to (megaupload.com) for the same thing is also seized. Any other threads with a link to backtrack to 5.5.893?

Here is another method that will get you there that still has valid download links. I am not sure what stopping at 893 with this method will do to your phone. It may be best to run it their way and go to 901. Then manually grab the 901 to 902 update from here and apply that. That will leave up to date.

I am uploading the Pathsaver I used to go back from 5.7.893 to 5.5.893 and then forever root before manually installing .902 with root retained. It is a big file(749MB) and still uploading to my dropbox(says 2 more hours):

I have broadband but must be dropbox limits upload speed, give it a couple hours or ao and maybe it will have finished lol! This file looks different than the one Tonik linked to but it worked for myself without any errors on 2 Bionics:) Your choice on which way you want to go, either way you should end up at .902 so good luck!

In full stock and I got the update this morning. It installed even more bloat ware. Ug. F u to bloat
