A little help with music player please.

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I just recently received my Droid Pro and have been totally loving it.

One question I have is concerning the music player. Whenever I play music that is stored on my SD card and I lock the screen the music stops playing after 30seconds to a minute. Is there a setting to change or is this a bug at the moment? I can use Pandora radio with the screen locked but the music from my SD card just will not keep playing.

You could try using Power Amp to play your music. It has more options than the stock player. I know one option it gives is to keep the screen on.

I like WinAmp. I first installed it for nostalgia reasons but now use as my primary music player. There may better apps but this works for me.

Thank you both for the help. I went with Power Amp and so far I haven't had any problems listening to music even with the screen locked.
