As much as I love my Otterbox Defender, I still have had some issues with it. But, when I first got my Droid, I was nervous, and wanted something to protect it. So I bought the only thing they had in the Verizon store, the Otterbox. If I had been a little more savvy, I would have shopped around.
Since then, I found (from a friend of a friend) a site that sells cases:
