It looks like the newest Acer Iconia A200 Android tablet will likely go on sale on January 15th. Additionally, there are reports that the slate is scheduled to get Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich in mid-February. The 8GB version will likely sell for $330 bucks, and the 16GB version will go for $20 bucks more. Just as a refresher, here are the specs on the tab:
  • microSD slot for expansion
  • NVIDIA's dual-core Tegra 2 SoC
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • 10-inch 1280 x 800 display
  • eight hours runtime battery
  • Full-size USB 2.0 port
For all the features, this price seems to be a decent bang for the buck. What do you think?

Not a bad price.

Makes me want to bring my fairly new a100 back and get this one. But I want Tegra 3 :(

Does anyone know when my a500 will be getting an ICS update? I've tried getting a reply from Acer customer service but they're worthless.
