Action Memo app vs S Note app

I've owned a Motorola android phone since the OG DROID so forgive me if this is a stupid question. What's the difference between the Action Memo app and the S Note app?

Both appear to the same thing although the S Note app allows a few additional features.

The action memo allows you to enter a name or number into the memo and it will recognize it to add to contacts or dial out. The s-note app just allows for note taking.
