actual phone function

Hi, I just bought this phone, and I am still learning about it. I don't now if anybody else had this problem, but my droid x will dial out fine but the person on the other end cannot hear me, it is not muted, the volume is turned up to as high as it will go and the voice privacy is disabled. It will work fine on speaker, but not regular. Any help would be helpful.

I am haveing the exact same issue, only the phone I just got is older, it is the Droid.

Somebody must have a solution....Thanks
