ADB Won't Recognize My - X (Mac)

Ok, Here is the problem I am running into. I am trying to do some things on with my X in ADB. I use a PC 99% of the time for this but I will be away for a couple days and ONLY have a macbook pro.

I have ADB set up correctly and the path is proper.

For SOME reason I CAN NOT get it to recognize the droid x.

95% of the time this is a driver issue with a PC but with a MAC I am stumped.

I have tried in on charge only, usb storage the whole nine yards and I still get the. "List of devices attached" if I get this message one more time I am afraid I might break this thing in half. :icon_evil:

If anyone could help me out I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Im sure you don't have the patience to run bootcamp correct? I've never even tried ADB thru my mac because I know it would be a headache.

Im going to stick with my pc.. It is a major headache.. I don't understand why it has to be so damn finicky.. :icon_evil:

I don't even know man. Probably has something to do with how mac recognizes your phone as a disk image similar to an application that was to be run...whereas a pc can just run directly from the file system on your phone without mounting it. Im with you though, I'd rather not shave years off my life trying to mess with it!
