Add personalize icon to home screen

I've searched in Google for this and in the user manual; I only get how to click on the Personalize under settings.

I've tried adding a Settings shortcut, but Personalize doesn't show up as a choice, and of course it's not an App or Widget.

My other HTC droid phones always had this on the home screen; how do I add it there on the DNA?

its an app in my app drawer but im using apex and sense just hangs in the background so maybe thats why? EDIT: Confirmed It is only an APP in the drawer in non sense launchers.
