Adding a Contact

Hi, I have a contact issue in which for example one person is named Jim Smith and I have him listed fine but when I try to add another contact named James Smith it is putting him under the 'Jim Smith' contact as an added name/number. Would really like to keep them separate as they are 2 different people!!!!

There is an option in Menu to split contacts.
