Adding events to different google calendars

I am trying to add events to different calendars using the calendar app, but I don't see an option to add the event to different calendars linked to the same google account.

i don't think that's an option YET but i heard it's coming

well i just looked in google support and apparently you can in a round about sort of way. here's the thread

as long as the other calendars are linked to your phone u should be able to add them. when u add a new event, there is an option to to add to "calendar". just pick which one u want it to go to and thats it. i do it all the time.
