Adding " Shortcuts " to Nav. screen?

I had to replace my D1 with another D1 and I am having trouble Adding shortcut to the Car Home Nav. screen. I have tried long pressing on blank icon areas, as well as on blank screen areas. I have also tried the menu keys on the screen slide as well as the hard key pad and nothing comes up. I have also tried this in safe mode.
Any ideas?

Do you have the up to date version from the market? I just did it on mine by pressing the add shortcut and it worked just fine.

Fixed !

That was it. I looked and it said 2.2.1 was what I had installed but there was a update and that update added what I wanted to do. Thanks for your help I had a brain freeze.
