Adds poping up on main screen

I keep getting full size adds popping up in my Galaxy Note 9.
Any ideas on finding source?
Related to a program running in background?

Can it be related to notifications? I have tried turning off some, but no help.

First thing to consider is the latest apps you have installed. Try un-installing them one at a time until you find the rouge app.

Is there a way to see date of install? All I see is alphabetical list. It would be easier to eliminate suspects.

Alphabetical is the default. What battery monitor app do you have? You can typically see in the rouge app also munching battery life too.

If that shows up only when you are connected to the internet, it be could from a free app but shows ads.
