Thanks guys, was waiting to root it, don't really know why. Just rooted it took all of 2 mins. and installed all the necessary root apps.

Works on rooted and unlocked Nexus, and the ads for new girlfriends are gone.... darn!

I am going to have to get this. I am used to roms that have the feature of blocking ads so I am not used to all these darn ads.
