having just installed 2.2 on my droid...i have flash 10.1 saved on my pc desktop....not sure how to install to droid or if we can for that matter. can any1 advise? tia

You could redownload it directly to your phone then just open it and it will install.

Or you can connect to the computer, drag it over to the SD card then open it.

You need a file manager to open it (Another app - free) such as AndExplorer or Astro

i just got the ota froyo update today and i can not get flash player to download from anywhere. where'd you get it from?

You have to get an .apk online and manually download it onto your phone. Flash 10.1 is not available in the Android market at the moment.

Thanks much but I had already installed it before I posted that, I was reading through some Threads, found what I needed, got that up and going and then registered.

Thanks though ...

Ok, I have the official flash player on my droid (rooted/saphire 1.0.0) and I was wondering if there is an apk I can dl to my sd card instead of my internal memory... I've looked around this thread and came up empty. If anyone has/can get the .apk plz let me know. TIA.

Just realized, you need to be rooted to use this I guess. I am not rooted and could install, but could not launch the app.

Droid, froyo.:icon_evil:

I installed the apk from post#11 and it seems to be working for me. I'm not rooted, but I did install Froyo manually (the big version).

Now when you say launch, do you mean open? I don't think it's something that you open; it's more embedded.
