Hey guys. So I uploaded some music into my phone. First time to be truthful I put on Tommy (Remastered) by The Who. If I go into albums, it has Tommy and Da Drought 3 by Lil' Wayne. But if I go into Artists, it has a ton of them. Why isn't it just Lil' Wayne and The Who?

on second thought i dont think it was the same problem. mine was, all compilations and mixes by my fav dj was all jumbled up in different albums and artist featuring artist albums yadda yadda. no wonder.

on w7 my issues were solved by going into the folders on my pc and selecting all files within the particular album. right click, properties>details> i just made sure the first four fields in media matched.

Each of the mp3 files from the Tommy album have different data entered in the "Artist" field of their respective ID3 tags.
Change the artist field of the ID3 tag for each Tommy mp3 file to "The Who" and your problem will be solved.
