Allcast Update Brings Now Playing Screen, Cover Art, and Lockscreen Control

The AllCast app which allows you to stream locally stored content from your Android device to your Chromecast or other DLNA compatible devices, has just been updated with some great new features. Some of the new features include Now Play Screen, support for cover art for movies and music, and lockscreen controls. You will now be able to skip through tracks and control volume from the lockscreen. There have been several bug fixes to the app including improved playlist management, improved playback controls, better DLNA discovery, and other various bug fixes. The free version of Allcast will also prompt you to go pro less often in this latest version. Head to the playstore to grab this update.
