allshareplay not seeing PC

On my Galaxy S3 i have tried to get allshare play to see my PC, (tried on 2 diffrent boxes) running win7 64bit. I have a router supplied by Verizion (actiontec) and the phone appears as an IP address in the router. I can use other apps to get to computer ORB, VLC,and WIFI transfer. But i really want to use the allplay. Keis Air does not work finding the computer either. I am on the same network and i have tried disabling all fire walls and opening up sharing any way i can. Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.

If you're like me and installed on the phone first, that may be your problem. I couldn't get the app to recognize my PC after getting everything installed until I tried what is described here:

Followed those steps and AllSharePlay recognized my laptop and the whole thing works fine now.

Still not connecting to pc. What a PIA. I have reinstalled software, opened up fire wall, cleared phone data, restarted network hub, Ugh

I'm not all that impressed with Allshare, anyway, to be honest. Apparently, very few video files will play through it - which was my primary reason for install. I use the Google Music cloud for all my music files; I wanted Allshare for streaming videos from the my laptop but hardly any of the formats will play.

Still really tring to figure this out becuse I'm, like a dog with a bone. It appears that i installed Allshare as well as allshareplay. i can assume that MIGHT have cused a conflict. Uninstalled allshare, cleared out any services running, reinstalled allshareplay and still not seeing any conected devices, funny thing is allshre at least showd my connected devices on tehnetwork except teh cell phone. Still looking for some answer as Samsung is no real help and love to figure this one out.
