Android 2.1 Dock Changes

I just rooted my Droid and installed 2.1 - love it! one small problem that may be a deal breaker for is the new Screensaver that kicks in while my phone is docked. Before, it went to the neat Clock screen with the weather (it still does ) but after a few minutes this Clock Screensaver kicks in and i can no longer see the other options. I truly do not like this. I love that i could wake in the night, see the temp and current weather conditions etc. Anyone know how to disable this nasty little screensaver?

motorola/ android should know that if they change anything in updates, that some people will like it better the old way, so we should have the option to
just saying
