Android 2.2 and App Drawer

Ok. Got the 2.2 upgrade this morning, went well. One thing I noticed that I'm not sure is new or just didn't notice it from the 2.1 build. If I open the app drawer and choose a program, the program runs just fine. When I close the program I notice the app drawer is still open. Is this new or did I just get spoiled with ADWLauncher? Is there a setting I'm missing to automatically close the app drawer when the program starts?
