It's obviously no secret that the Samsung Galaxy Note II came with Jelly Bean/Android 4.1.1. Also, you are probably aware that there is a newer version of Jelly Bean that is version 4.2. Oddly for some reason, there is a distinct possibility that we won't see Samsung move directly from Android 4.1.1 to Android 4.2. It looks like they are working on an Android 4.1.2 version for the Galaxy Note II, which just leaked and is available now. A leaked build of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version (firmware version N7105XXDLK7) for the Galaxy Note 2 LTE (model number GT-N7105) was recently listed on Samsung-Updates.
It's surprising to see that they are still working on an incremental update, when it seems to make more sense to skip it and go straight to version 4.2. Of course, considering the development phases of new versions of Android, it's possible they have been working on Android 4.1.2 the longest, and we may end up moving to it first and then skipping Android 4.2 in favor of Key Lime Pie. Of course that's just speculation. What do you guys think?
Of course, on Verizon, the update will likely take twice as long as the other versions of the GNote2...
