We have a silly rumor to share with you guys this morning. It is highly likely a fake, but is worth a laugh to get your day started. A new GFXBenchmark supposedly details the next generation Nexus 5 (which will supposedly be called the Nexus 5 (2014).
That part isn't that unbelievable and could end up being accurate. The fake part of this rumor is that the GFXBench supposedly names the Android 5.0/Android L as Android Lion with a Nestle logo (mockup picture shown above). This is obviously pretty silly, so feel free to mock it.
While this intel is dubious at best, we kinda hope one part of it is true. The rumor also shares the specs of the new Nexus 5 and they are quite impressive:
- 5.2-inch display with 1440 x 2560-pixel (Quad HD) resolution
- Android 5.0 Lion
- Snapdragon 805 running at up to 2.7GHz, Adreno 420
- 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage
- 12-megapixel rear cam, 2-megapixel front shooter
