Android Game Spotlight - Injustice: Gods Among Us for Android is Worth a Look

Gamers looking to try out Injustice: Gods Among Us on Android need to go into it with eyes open. If you are expecting the game to be just like the fighting game found on the consoles, you will be disappointed. If, however, you try it out without that pre-conceived notion, you might find it to be a fun and engaging title worthy of killing a few hours. The game still uses some of the same fighting elements of the console version, but they are far more simplified. It also introduces a Trading Card Element into the game which is "all the rage" these days on Android. Despite the hackneyed approach, the implementation is actually well executed, and ads a strategic element not present in the console game.

It also uses a credit based system that lets you progress and upgrade your "team" throughout the game. The game uses the dreaded in-app purchases to facilitate faster upgrades and progress, but it doesn't really feel like you are required to use the in-app system to get enjoyment out of the game. The graphics are truly top-notch, and are actually pretty comparable to what you find on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Overall, the game is fun and mildly addictive, so as a freebie it might be worth a look. Been playing since launch. Have it for the PS4 and thought to look for in the Play Store. Great graphics and seamless play (no lag) on my LG/G2. Simple commands and easy fights. Games great on PS4 and also here.
