Android Market hits 20,000 apps, over 60 percent free

hey so how do the one's who don't have ads in them make money when it's free?

like someone said they dont or the version you downloaded is the lite version and to get all the features they also offer a pay version of the same app that includes all of the features.

Awesome!

But I don't really buy this 100,000 apps that the iPhone has. I mean really, how are they counting them? when a new version come out of a particular app, is it considered a new app? some apps, also have multiple versions and some are just skins, etc...

It is easy for Apple to keep track...they have to aprove them and are the only source for them

The question is how many of those are Android 2.0 compatible?
It's great to see that there is a demand for this. I also think we will hit 100,000 before 2011.
