Everytime I get a notification for updates available from the Market, the number of updates available is always one more than actually shows up in the market. So if the notifications says 2 updates available, there's actually only 1 updates available. I've been searching everywhere trying to figure out what is causing this issue with no success. I know it's a minor thing but I'd just like to figure out why this happening and how I could get the notifications to be correct again.

Have you updated Visual Voicemail? That was my issue way back when I first got my Droid. I never updated it because I use Google Voice for Voicemails. Installed the update and it stopped having 'one extra' update notification.

I remember this being an issue back when the phone first came out. Lemme see if I can dig up some old threads.

How do I upgrade the Visual Voicemail? I've never used it. I just tapped the icon for "Visual VM" before for the first time and I got a page that had a button that says upgrade, which brought me to the market listing for Visual Voicemail but it says it costs $2.99 a month would I get charged that just by downloading the application?
