Android N Could be Named After Seaweed; Is Google Trolling Us?

Hiroshi Lockheimer, Google's Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome and Chrome OS, recently Tweeted the following, which is probably meant to be a tease for the name of Android N:

Received a tip from a source familiar with the matter that Nori is not only healthy but also a very tasty treat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nori

In case you didn't know this, Nori is just seaweed (shown above). While Nori is a tasty treat which is used in multiple recipes in Japan, it is most notable as a sushi wrapper. There are some instances in Japanese culture in which you can use Nori in a dessert, but for the most part, it is not really associated specifically as a dessert itself.

We think Google is just trolling us on this one... trying to lead us on a wild goose chase. What do you think the final Android N dessert name will be? Nutella, Nougat, Noodle Jello, Nutty Spiced Ricotta Pie... ?

Trolling.

We all know N is for Nutella and no app drawer. [emoji38]
