I have a confession to make. Contrary to popular belief (and this might shock a few of you), I don’t always carry my phone with me wherever I go. Yes, I am a massive tech enthusiast and yes, I write for a really cool website, so it’s part of my job to constantly be on my phone, trying out themes and applications to review. And I go one step further with my devices and make sure I’ve got my laptop, computer, tablets, phones and all sorts of peripherals all synced up together. Sounds very clever doesn’t it? Well, suffice it to say, it’s not always a good thing.
Get one little notification and all hell breaks loose; every device will start screaming at you to check the notification you just got. Some will start vibrating and others will just flash all sort of lights in your general direction, desperately trying to get your attention. So you can see why I think it’s good – healthy even – to take a break from it all.
