Besides the big news of the day regarding Motorola, Google had something else interesting to say on their blog today. According to Google CEO, Larry Page, there are now 150 Million Android activated devices worldwide, with an additional 550,000 being activated daily. This is due to the Android being marketed through a network of approximately 39 manufacturers and 231 carriers in 123 countries! It's amazing how quickly Android has accelerated to the top of the smartphone food chain, and it'll be interesting to see how far Google can push the technology in the future.
