Android Pic message question?

I have a picture message in my inbox and unlike most pictures you can long click and click 'save to SD card' this is a play button that i have to click on, and once i click it it shows text then a few seconds later the picture, and then goes back to the text, as if it's a video.

is there a way i can save the image??

I have a rooted droid 2 if that matters but i figure if im rooted maybe theres a folder i can find it in?
