Good Evening,
I got my Droid 3 as a replacement for my X2.
It came with 2.3.4 and I was curious if this is the most current OS for it? (the X2 was on 2.3.5 when it died)
Should I assume that if I'm not up to date I'll need to flash it?
No you can still flash custom ROMs, just if you are on .890 you can flash back to .959. That's mainly for brick situations, as they changed the bootloader. I'm on .906 and am flashing custom ROMs when I find one I like.
OK. Thanks, I'll check them out.
And sadly, yes, I didn't pay too much attention to the system version on the X2. It updated once that I noticed while I had it. Plus, I didn't quite follow the way you wrote it. I'm slow that way
Thanks again.
