I want to get a new smart watch but it annoys me to no end that the batteries don't last all that long and you are stuck with a paper weight. My Moto 360 before its 2 year birthday became a desk clock on its charger because the battery was abysmal and I had very good battery life the first year. Make one with a battery you can replace and keep that battery in a few models so they dont' disappear quickly either.

No reason why the LG Urbane shouldn't get the update.
It's less than two years old.
If they fail to update devices less than 2 years old, ANdroid Wear is going to die fast.
I'm not asking for updates forever, but two years isn't asking too much.

if you are just wanting a watch and not necessary one with oreo, then check out some of those fitness watches. most does the same as a smartwatch when it comes to email notifications and time. just a bit cheaper.

I do have my eye on the Zenwatch 2. It's around $70-80 right now.
