Don't know about a top 5, but I really like androidzoom.com a lot more than I do androidlib.com for searching for market apps. Androidzoom allows you to sort searches by ratings and popularity.

I actually found this forum after being on android forums. I followed a vzw tech rep link to here. I still go there. Shows how large and small the droid community is. A bunch of forums full of people and I also see some of the same people from different forums on another forum.
