Annoying autoplay

Is there a way to disable the annoying autoplay of the default mp3 player when I plug something into the headphone jack?

Go into the player, then open the settings. There should be a headset options under settings. Then disable auto play. Im pretty sure thats it but im running off of memory.

Well, that doesn't work. Using winamp as the default player and it has no such setting. Neither does the factory player.

Use power amp. Best player out there and you can turn off the annoying headset setting
