Annoying Data Manager Service error

On my Droid Bionic, I recently started receiving the following error repeatedly:

"The application Data Manager Service (process com.motorola.process.system) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."Force close

So I force close (only option), presumably without incident.

I tried reboots, and allowing automatic time zone as I found in another forum, all to no avail.

Any help out there?

I have been getting it on my Droid 3 also. Even the Verizon store can't tell me what it is.
