Hey all.. LTNS! :)

Hope everyone is well.. been quite busy with work and other things, life in general I guess. :)

Anyways so it seems this lock screen 'speedcharge' showed up after the marshmallow update on my htc one m8 and I cannot figure out how the hell to get rid of it. I looked briefly here but didn't see anything. This has got to have been brought up I would think?

I looked around when I saw you post this. I couldn't find anything helpful for ya :(

My daughters Galaxy S4 is having the same issue. The problem is that this new program sometimes interferes with her alarm. If anyone figures out how to get rid of this thing, please post it! Thanks!

Figured it out! I've heard of Z camera installing this app, but it wasn't the case for my daughters phone. It was an app called Kitty Play. On its last update it installed this obnoxious speed boost app. We uninstalled Kitty Play and it's gone!

Hello all,
I just had the same screen pop up after I updated apps yesterday. This mystery lock screen would only show up every time I plugged my phone in to charge, and no matter how many times I turned it off, it still popped up. I read other threads from others having the same problems. Theres more than one app that has been causing this issue, too many to list. But there are only 2 solutions that I have found so far that has worked from other posts. One solution is an app called Stopbadapp or similar that scans your phones apps for adware, viruses, ect. The other solution is to factory reset your phone. I resetted mine because I was affraid of the lockscreen being a huge security risk to accounts and personal/private info. The reset did get rid of the adware, but now I need to find which apps caused it. Hope this little bit of info helps :)

I recently had this pop up after installing pocket ranger and c:geo on an lg g3. I uninstalled them, and it's still popping up.

wondering how else it might have gotten there..... May just need to do a factory reset

As posted above it might've been added into an app you've already been using.
I've been using Opera Browser since before Android was around and its last update added redirects when you tap on the embedded short cuts in the speed dial of it. Say you tap on the embedded Twitter shortcut now instead of taking you to Twitter it redirects to apps on the Play Store, even opening Play Store at the app install area.
These "free" apps are getting ridiculous in their nefarious spamming.
