Well hello everyone. Hmmmm, what to say, what to say .....
I have been a BB users for about 3 years and thought I had found the end all of mobile phones. I thought I would have one forever. But the browser on the Droid just kept calling to me. I made the switch to a Droid today and have been online finding forums and web sites to try and learn from. So far I really like this phone, but time will tell if I miss my BB too much and have to go back. It will take some getting use to and some time to get familiar with everything, but I will give it a fair chance.
If you got any helpful tips or suggestions for the best Droid info, I am all ears ....

Not sure which BB you had, but there are many of us who came from BB and I can tell you that after 3 years of an assortment of BB phones (Storm was the last), that nothing stands up to the Moto Droid for me. I think you'll feel the same way soon enough. And, glad you found DF. Lots of good info here and great people to answer questions.

Welcome! I believe you will be very satisfied with your Droid.

Mike

Hello and welcome to the forums. You will enjoy the phone. All of us couldn't be happier with the droid. The more you use the phone the more you will be amazed by its features and toys. :icon_ banana:

Thanks Vulcan .... I am a Victory Jackpot rider myself. Just in the few hours hours I have had it, I have found loads of cool stuff. Switching my Outlook calendar to Google was easy enough, but unless I am missing something, I havent found a way to easily move my contacts. I am retyping the all in Gmail but I am on like # 40 of 78 so I took a break from it. After all the setup stuff is done, I will be able to give it a fair assesment, but it looks very promising so far.
